Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun

Residents of Oke Afa/ Kajola in Obafemi Owode Local Givernment Area of Ogun State have urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to construct the Oke Afa-Kajola Road.
Oke-Afa-Kajola, is a community along Lagos-Ibadan expressway way, the residents of this area have cried out to the government severally concerning the bad road in the community but nothing is yet to be done.
The residents have expressed their concerns.
“Rain fall is a natural gift from God nevertheless it is causing us pain because we can’t pass the road easily we have to pay more, the roads are so bad that even bike will take twice as much as what they collect before, so I’m imploring the government to please come to our aid The Ogun State government should help us tar this road” Mrs Oridaniel, a trader said.
Mr. Tunmishe, a resident, also expressed concern, he said “I have been living here for almost seven years and the roads are still very terrible and as a car owner in this community, transportation has been a night mare due to the bad road, I spend a lot fixing my vehicle because of damages the road causes and lately I haven’t been able to make use of my car because of the flooded road, if the government can construct drainages, the road will be more durable for use.”

According to Mr Daniel “On a normal day the road is bad but the rain that has been falling lately has made it worse, the road accumulates water because of the lack of drainage also there’s a canal in Oke-afa road that gets filled during raining season and the water does not flow”.
Another resident, Mrs Olubusi Shade, said “Governor Dapo Abiodun had shown interest to construct the road during the last dispensation, he wrote a letter promising to construct the Oke Afa-Kajola road, “I’m urging him to fulfil his promise by constructing the road” she sounded with a note of finality.
