Hon. Adewale Jafojo, the former Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has publicly congratulated Hon. Seyi Jakande on his recent swearing-in as the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), declaring that a new era of leadership has begun in the LCDA.
Recall that Hon Seyi Jakande was among the local council chairmen who took oath of office yesterday in an event presided over by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu of Lagos State. This significant milestone marks Hon. Jakande’s ascension as the 3rd chairman of the council, a role that comes with great responsibility and opportunity for community development.
In his congratulatory message, full of heartfelt display of support and camaraderie, Hon. Jafojo praised Hon. Jakande for his unwavering dedication and commitment to public service. “Your election as Executive Chairman confirms the confidence the people of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye have in your leadership abilities,” he stated. “I am confident that you will bring the same passion and vision that have defined your career thus far to this new role, especially the legacy of Baba Kékeré, Late Alhaji Lateef Jakande.” His words reflect the high hopes and expectations held by constituents for Jakande’s administration.
Emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration, Hon. Jafojo expressed optimism about the future of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye under Hon. Hon Jafojo’s father, Alhaji Rafiu Jafojo, was the first Executive Deputy Governor of Lagos State, serving alongside the Chairman’s father, who was the Executve Governor then.
Hon. Jafojo concluded his message by wishing Hon. Jakande every success in his new position, as the community looks forward to the positive changes and initiatives the new leadership will bring.
