The leaked video of how a 33 years old Zimbabwean, US-based woman, Zvikomborero Maria Makedenge allegedly lured a 16-year-old boy to bed with the pretext that she would facilitate his trip to the United States of America has surfaced online.
Maria is said to be a girlfriend of a tenant who resides in the same building with the teenage boy.
According to the State, on August 2, 2025, Maria followed the boy to his room and allegedly forcibly had unprotected sexuaI intercourse with him and implored him not to disclose the matter to anyone. She promised to take him to the US where she is formally employed.
The boy however told his sister who thereafter informed his mother. The mother filed a complaint at Mbare police station, leading to Makedenge’s arrest.
Maria Makendenge has been dragged to court for defiling the boy.
