In a bid to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians on account of President Bola Tinubu reforms, Businessman and social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has gifted Lere Olayinka,
the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) the sum of one million naira.
In a video posted by Fayose on Facebook and seen by NATIONAL WAVES, Fayose said ” Over 10,000 people submitted their bank account details after I announced the giveaway, the post also attracted over 6,000 likes and 364,000 views, making it difficult for me to personally go through all the entries.
“Even me, I won’t pick winner. How will I go through 10,000 to pick one” Fayose said. He explained that he eventually saw the account details of Wike’s aide in a group and decided to select him.
“I said okay, it would be nice to give Wike’s SA to prove a point that even them that are supporting this government, they are hungry,” he said.
Fayose further said he sent the N1 million to the aide as a way of demonstrating that Nigerians supporting the government are also affected by the country’s economic situation.
“I sent the the ₦1million to him. Just to prove a point to you people supporting APC, that you people in the same market where we go, the same petrol where we buy, in the same hospital where we use, in the same school our children go,” he said.He also questioned why some people were angry about the beneficiary.

“Many of you are hungry. Why will he give Wike’s aide Why will he give Wike’s aide, Nah your money, why are you so disturbed” Fayose asked.
Fayose challenged the thousands of people who submitted their account details to channel the same energy into demanding better living conditions from the government.
“If 10,000 of you that dropped your account yesterday can come out and stand outside National Assembly or gate to the villa and say enough is enough, you won’t be on social media dropping account,” he said.
He added: “You are lazy. That is why you are lazy to take your country back.”
Fayose further urged Nigerians to demand action over the economic hardship they are experiencing.
“If 10,000 of you that dropped your account yesterday can come together and say no, even ask that this government must do something about your life and your living, Nigeria will be better today,” he said.
Fayose concluded by announcing another giveaway, saying two people would receive N250,000 each.
“Anyway, another giveaway today, 250,000 times two people. Have a good day,” he said.
