Barely one month after an Access Bank account holder, Onyema Evelyn, narrated how ₦3 million was stolen from her Access Bank account, an Italy based Nigerian woman and another Access Bank account holder, Oluwabunmi Dorcas, has sought for assistance from Nigerians to assist in recovering the sum of five million naira allegedly stolen from her account.
In a video seen by NATIONAL WAVES Dorcas said “Good morning Nigerians, my name is Olubunmi Dorcas, please I need help, I operate an account with Access Bank, suddenly I lost my phone so I couldn’t receive alert on transactions regarding the account. I called my account officer and informed her of the development. She said I shouldn’t bother that whenever I transfer money there I should inform her. I transferred money into the account a couple of times and informed her and she confirmed the transactions.
Dorcas further stated that last Saturday her Account Officer called her to inquire if she withdrew the sum of five million naira from her account and she told her she does not have the capacity to withdraw since she does not have an automated teller machine (ATM) card. She broke the news to her that ₦5m was withdrawn from her account. She advised that the account be blocked while they unravel those who stole my money.
Dorcas said “She requested I sent her an email to access the account. I did and on logging in to my account she saw the names of those who withdrew my money. Despite this, officials of Access said there is nothing they could do about it.
” I’m calling on VeryDarkMan, Oriyomi Hamsat and other Nigerians to come to my rescue. Access Bank is killing me gradually, I work in the cold to earn a living in Italy, please help me” she cried in an emotion-laden voice.
