He said “The late statesman was of a special breed like his elder brothers, Chief EK Clark, Leader of Niger Delta Region, Ambassador Clark, Former Nigeria Permanent Representative at the United Nations(UN).The three notable siblings brought glory to Nigeria and the only thing they share in common is global icons and indomitable spirits.”

While mourning the passing away of the great man. Evah wrote on his Facebook page “I was privileged to meet the three indomitable spirits in one place and I was privileged  to honour the late Professor when I hosted him and the first Nigeria professor of Mathematics and First Nigeria Female Vice-chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Grace Alele-Williams, also a daughter of Niger Delta in my programme, to mark his 80th birthday, five years ago.

“The 1,000 T-shirts for youths I launched was to tell the story of a giant from the Niger Delta in the Academic World. May his Soul Rest in peace”
