The suspect

A fraudster suspected to be ‘Yahoo Boy’ has been arrested by the bank securitymen after he sneaked into an FCMB (First City Monument Bank) branch through the toilet and hid in the ceiling overnight to hack the Bank’s systems.
The suspect walked into the bank towards closing time, he locked himself in the restroom.
At night, he climbed into the ceiling through the manhole in the restroom and stayed there until after closing time.
The next morning, staff found the restroom door locked from the inside. Upon forcing it open, they discovered him tampering with computers — one screen reportedly displayed a “restarting, click OK to accept” message.
Security operatives were alerted and caught him. Video surfaced showing him being dragged out and beaten, leading to public outcry.
Social media critics debated both the bank’s lax security and the aggressive tactics of police/security personnel. Concerns were raised that the suspect could have provided technical info if properly interrogated.
According to one of the security who pleaded anonymity he said:
“A customer entered our FCMB bank in Secretariat yesterday, went straight to the toilet and locked himself there, then climbed inside the ceiling. When he noticed that all the staff had gone, he came down and tried to hack all the systems. He also locked himself inside. This morning when my colleagues arrived the office, they noticed the door was locked from inside. They had to break the door and go in, that’s when they noticed that someone was on top of the ceiling. Immediately they turned on their system, it started showing *“restarting, click ok to accept”
