Ijebuland stands as one of the most culturally distinguished and economically vibrant kingdoms in Yorubaland. The throne of the Awujale is not merely a symbol of authority; it is a covenant between the ancestors, the living, and generations yet unborn. My years of public service — including my tenure as Chief Commissioner and Ombudsman of the Public Complaints Commission — have been guided by principles of fairness, accountability, and the defense of the voiceless. These same principles would guide my stewardship of the throne: ensuring justice, inclusiveness, and stability across all quarters of Ijebuland.
