It was glitz and glamour as Dr. Abdulsalam Eremwan Ogbemudia PhD, was inducted into the Institute of Corporate Leadership and Mentorship (ICLM).
Ogbemudia, a visionary business leader and technocrat was honoured for his outstanding contributions to corporate leadership and mentorship, cementing his position as a trailblazer in the Nigerian business landscape.
Dr. Ogbemudia who is the Group Chief Operating Officer of Synergy BPL, was also appointed to the ICLM Leadership Council, a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to driving positive change in the corporate world.
The induction ceremony took place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, marking a significant milestone in Dr. Ogbemudia’s illustrious career.He was recognized alongside other high-calibre personalities from the corporate, media, and film sectors.

Unknown to many, Amb. (Dr.) Alhaji Abdulsalam E. Ogbemudia PhD, is a seasoned management expert with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Ogbemudia has held senior positions in multinational companies, including Cavista Holdings, Promasidor Nigeria, and Globacom.
He holds two Doctorate degrees and multiple certifications and fellowships, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
His achievements include serving as President of Abdulsalam Ogbemudia Foundation and Chairman of Netoidia African Group and Peacedom Royal Schools’ Board of Directors.
Dr. Ogbemudia has received over 68 local and international awards, including the Business Leader Award and the 2020 International Outstanding Leadership Award.
