Embattled businesswoman, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho seems to have literally bitten more than she can chew as the City Boy Movement has suspended her from her position as South-West Zonal Coordinator of its Women Wing after she was declared wanted on Monday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged fraudulent activities.

In an official statement issued by its management, the group said the suspension takes immediate effect and will remain in place pending the conclusion of investigations and any subsequent legal processes.

The Movement described the action as a necessary administrative measure to protect its integrity, credibility, and ethical standards, while ensuring that due process is not hindered.

“This step is essential to safeguard the image of the Movement and to allow the ongoing investigation to proceed without interference, obstruction, or undue influence,” the statement said.

Reaffirming its principles, the City Boy Movement stressed its zero-tolerance stance on misconduct, criminality, or any act capable of bringing the organization into disrepute.
It added that all officials are expected to uphold the highest standards of accountability, discipline, and public conduct.

The group further reiterated its commitment to transparency, responsible leadership, and national development, noting that respect for the rule of law remains central to its operations.
