Nafiu Bala and Leke Abejide during the protest
By Abdullahi Abubakar
The factional National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nafiu Bala and a memeber of the House of Representatives, Leke Abejide have accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, Kwankwasiyya leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and former Senate President David Mark to desist from attempts to hijack the ADC from them.
They stated this while leading protesters to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC headquarters, Abuja on Thursday.
The duo marched with supporters carrying placards with various inscriptions.
Some of the placards had inscriptions such as ‘Woe to Political Marauders’, and ‘Hon. Nafiu Bala, We Stand With You’.
The demonstration is a counter protest after an earlier demonstration by the David Mark faction at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
