El-Rufai Storms Court As Court Remands Followers In Prison For Invading SDP Secretariat (+Video)

Former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who was recently expelled from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) stormed a Magistrate Court in Abuja as eight of his followers who were arrested by the police and arraigned for allegedly invading the SDP National Secretariat and stealing administrative papers, payment vouchers, official stamps, bank books, and office documents.

El-Rufai’s eight followers were remanded in Keffi, Kuje and Suleja Prisons, respectively.

A statement signed on Thursday by the National Secretary of SDP, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, and made available to NATIONAL WAVES reads

“The gang of men and one woman that made forceful entry into the SDP National Secretariat on Monday July 28, 2025, to steal administrative papers, payment vouchers, official stamps, bank books, and office documents have been arranged in Magistrate Courts in Karu ans Kuje and were ordered to be remanded in Keffi, Kuje and Suleja Prisons, respectively.

“The following, are the names of the suspects arrested by the FCT Police and initially kept in CID custody were charged to court on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, and remanded in Keffi prison

– Mr. Ambo Ekpenyong ‘m’,
– Humphrey Onwukaeze ‘m’,
– Mr. Eluwa Ifeanyi Henry ‘m’,
– Chief Solsuema Osaro ‘m’
– Mr Nurudeen Bissallah “m”.

“The three others arrested and charged, are: Dogara Abubakar ‘m’ Comrade Adamu Abubakar Modibbo m” and Judith Isreal Shuaibu ‘f’

“All the eight invaders were detained in police custody and charged to court on Tuesday, 29, and Thursday, July 31, 2025.

“The materials recovered from them were tendered in court by the police prosecution team.

“Mallam Nasiru Ahmad Elrufai made fractic but futile efforts to get the eight accused persons bailed.

They are currently in the three Prisons awaiting their days in court for hearing of the cases against them.”
