Nigerian businessman, Isaac Fayose, has criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for appointing his elder brother and former Governor of Ekiti State,
Ayodele Fayose, as chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), stressing that his elder brother is bigger than the appointment.
In a video posted on his Facebook page and seen by NATIONAL WAVES, the younger Fayose said ” Aaaha APC nah sabi disrespect my brother, this is very disrespectful, Aaaha a whole Fayose Board chairman, my brother board? My brother dey give you board, even Reno Omokri wey him generation never be Governor before, they made him ambassador. So many people in that ambassadorial list that they don’t have your CV. They nor give you Minister, even Wike, nah you trained Wike, Dey nor make you Minister, when Wike was PA to someone, you were already a Governor. Even Adeyeye your boy, they made him NPA Director, you nah gave you Board. Haba Osoko you told us, your followers then that you will never be Minister, now Board. Don’t do it. Reject it”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had announced 26 new appointments into 10 Federal Government agencies and commissions, with Ayo Fayose, emerging as chairman of REA
Fayose is expected to head the board of REA, with Ahmadu Abubakar and Ilyasu Makinta appointed as members and non-executive directors.
The incumbent DG of the agency, Abba Aliyu, and three executive directors previously appointed make up the remaining board members.
