Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned the recent attacks on the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, adding that such ugly incident would not happen under former President Olusegun Obasanjo or military dictator, Sani Abacha.

He tweeted this on Monday in reaction to the demolition of the High Commission in Ghana and threats on its staff last Friday.

“Nigerian traders in Ghana have had their shops forcefully shut for the last 8 months,” he wrote.

“Now our Embassy in Accra has been demolished & embassy staff threatened with violence. I assure you that Ghana would not try this if Nigeria had a President or if OBJ or Abacha were in power.”
