The Federal Government has put up an advert in national newspapers auctioning two presidential jets.
The advert ask interested buyers to signify interest for the two aircraft – a Falcon 7X (5N-FGU) and Hawker 4000 (5N-FGX).
The Falcon 7X has a 16 passenger and 3 crew members capacity, while the Hawker 4000 can seat 9 passengers and 6 crew members.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu had said the Federal Government has constituted a committee looking into the sales of some presidential jets.
He had said the FG was “working to reduce the number of aircraft in the presidential fleet. Some aircraft will be boarded, some others returned to the Air Force for operation…”
