It is about how operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun Corps rescued a pastor amd teacher with the Redeemed Christian of God, Fagbonmire Durojaiye and seven other persons abducted by suspected kidnappers in different parts of the state.

The victims were freed during a coordinated operation carried out by the security outfit, according to the state commander of the corps, Akogun Adetunji

In a statement issued on Thursday, Adeleye disclosed that none of the victims’ families paid ransom before their release, despite demands allegedly made by the kidnappers.

He explained that some of the victims were abducted from Ilado Community in Akure North Local Government6 Area, where criminal elements had reportedly launched attacks on residents.

The Amotekun commander revealed that the abductors had demanded N30 million before agreeing to release the victims.

He, however, said the victims regained their freedom following a successful rescue mission by operatives of the corps.
