The sad news currently trending is the demise of Nollywood Actress, Temitope Kofoworola Osoba popularly Tope Osoba, who reportedly died at the age of 40 from complications arising from cancer of the breast.
The actress who recently opened up about her health challenge in 2024 died in the early hours of today.
She publicly shared her diagnosis with breast cancer after discovering a lump during self-examination.
She later underwent an initial surgery in November 2024 and successfully raised funds with the help of colleagues like Foluke Daramola for subsequent medical procedures.
In August 2025, she announced a joyful return to acting, thanking fans and declaring she had beaten the illness and was ready to reshape her career.
The actress, who hailed from Abeokuta, Ogun State, will be 41 years in December, 2026.
