Some account holders with Access Bank are stiff worried over a viral video wherein an unnamed Dubai returnee narrated how she trusted Access Bank with her money but the bank allegedly failed her culminating to the withdrawal of three million naira from her account without her consent.
In a video seen by NATIONAL WAVES, the lady narrated how the money that she saved while working in Dubai was stolen from her account.
In the video, the lady said. “As you guys can see, I’ve been saving money in my account since 2022 with Access Bank. I arrived in Nigeria and went to Access Bank and can not find my money. They told me to go, that they will investigate. I went back to Access Bank, they contacted their headquarters and gave me the name of the beneficiary. The lady in there in Access Bank told me to go the police. That I should give the police details of the beneficiary. I swear, I don’t have any money to go to the police. All the money I have been saving since 2022 was stolen. I did not authorise any transaction yet my money was stolen”
She further said “They gave me the name of the beneficiary to go to Opay and Monie Point, this is the Bank statement. They took all my money. Nigerians I really need help. I don’t have any money on me to do that. While in Dubai, I sent several emails to Access Bank to verify if my account was safe and was told it was safe. They requested for utility bill to reactivate the account which I sent to them. Despite all these, they took my money. All I want is for Access Bank to return my money because I didn’t authorise the transaction. I trusted Access Bank, they took all my money”
