Ex- NIMASA DG, Bashir Jamoh
By Abdullahi Abubakar
Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh has been arrested by the
operatives of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC).
He was arrested on Tuesday morning in Kaduna
A dependable source squealed that the former NIMASA boss was driven to his Kaduna home by the operatives, before driving him to Abuja.
A coalition of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) had mid-last year penned series of petitions against Jamoh.
Meanwhile, the ICPC is yet to issue an official statement on the arrest or disclose the specific allegations against him.
