The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) under the watch of Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu has removed its Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Benjamin Hundeyin, barely six months after he assumed the position.
Gathered that the approval for Hundeyin’s removal was given on Thursday, March 5, 2025.
The decision comes amid ongoing internal restructuring within the police hierarchy following the emergence of a new leadership at the force headquarters.
The shake-up follows the appointment of Tunji Disu as the 23rd Inspector-General of Police by Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Disu was named IGP last week after the removal of Kayode Egbetokun, who had led the force since 2023.
