The Chief Executive Officer of Prosperous Ariori Golden Venture Limited, Mr. Abiodun Ariori, has been declared wanted by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of three persons during a violent clash in the Owode Onirin area of the state.
According to the police, the incident occurred during a confrontation between traders and suspected land grabbers in the community.
On August 27, 2025, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, led a team of officers to the scene to restore order. Three people who sustained injuries during the clash were confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital, while a police inspector injured in the violence remains in critical condition.
Preliminary investigations linked Ariori to the deadly confrontation. Despite efforts to apprehend him, the suspect remains at large. His last known address is in Egbeda, and he is described as dark in complexion.
In line with the Commissioner’s directive, four police officers allegedly brought into Lagos by the wanted suspect have been identified and detained for orderly room trial.
They were reportedly found to be on illegal duty in collaboration with Ariori.
