Residents of Nekede, a fast-growing town in Imo State, were in shock as two cult factions exchanged gunfire in the early hours of yesterday. After the chaotic incident simmered down, not less than 10 people reportedly feared dead.
Although the cause of the clash is yet to be ascertained those in the know squealed that the clash is between Aye and SVC Cult members.
Another source said that a security operative came to assault a resident and he invited the cult members for backup which culminated in the exchange seen in the viral video
