More facts have emerged on why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Overruled the Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner REC’s declaration of Senator Aisha Dahiru Binani as the winner of the Adamawa State supplementary governorship election,
INEC said the action of the REC, Ari Hudu, declaring the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election when the process had not been concluded, was an usurpation of powers of the Returning Officer.
