All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful in Imo state on Saturday joined their counterparts in other states to conduct presidential primary where the party chieftains expressed strong desire to vote for President Bola Tinubu in 2027. The party faithful overwhelmingly voted for President Bola Tinubu at the primary.
At Isiebu Umuduru ward in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state, an eminent party chieftain and a strong pillar of APC, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, who was on ground to deliver his ward to President Bola Tinubu, noted that President Tinubu has preformed creditably well across the key sectors of the economy and deserved a second term.
The distinguished Senator said “the re-election of the President is key to the success of the country, it’s very important for the growth of the economy. That’s why I’m here as number one to be counted for the President. The reason we are here is to vote for Mr. President and give him the needed grassroots support that he deserved having done well as President. He is the best among the contenders across party lines.
He noted that “for Tinubu, today is a special day because second tenure for any president is something that’s earned, and our President has earned it.”
According to him, Nigeria has seen a kind transformation we have never witnessed before in the areas of education, infrastructure, tax reforms and the economy. He prayed for the continued success of the President.
Araraume’s political enemies some of whom could not deliver their wards castigated the politician for not being at the collation centre, Araraume believed that the most important thing is to deliver his ward and senatorial district for President Bola Tinubu which he has overwhelmingly done to the best of his ability.
