The National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Tuesday said it had concluded
plan to publicise the achievements of the present administration led by
President Muhammadu Buhari in communities across the country.

The acting Director-General, Mrs Ngozi Ekeoba, said this during a one-day
interactive session organised by the Agency on Tuesday in Abuja.

She said that the Agency organised the interactive session to showcase the
milestones of the present administration and to empower its staff with
facts and figures before going to communities for the enlightenment.

She said “NOA is aware that there are challenges, but the present
government has done so much that people need to know and appreciate.

“So, NOA staff have been adequately informed today for onward
dissemination to their immediate constituencies be it Church, Mosque,
neighborhood, or even social gatherings.”

The resource person at the occasion, Mr Samuel Songhul, commended the
Federal Government for the achievements so far.

He particularly mentioned the successes recorded in the fight against
insurgency in the North East as a major achievement.

According to him, government must be commended for moving military command
to Maiduguri for efficient monitoring of the insurgency in that area.

“The country has recorded so much successes from this single act,” he added.

Songhul said that the fight against corruption by the present government
had revealed a lot about how the nation’s economy was destroyed and
commended the government for the commitment to bring back stolen funds for
the development of the country.

He also commended the Federal Government for sanitising the civil service
and for harping on the need to diversify the economy and turn around the
agriculture sector for the good of all.

Earlier, Mr Charles Nwaorji, the NOA Director, Planning, said the present
government had well articulated policies and urged Nigerians to support
the administration.
