A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, has advocated for love, unity and the spirit of sacrifice among Nigerians, reflecting on the lessons of Jesus Christ while rejoicing with Christian faithful on the occasion of the Easter urging them to allow the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to guide their thoughts and actions.
Araraume stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday.
The statement read “As Nigerians, particularly Christians celebrate this year’s Easter, which marks the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I enjoined Nigerians to eschew violence and embrace love, unity and the spirit of sacrifice to move the nation forward”
“As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, may His sacrifice continually guide our thoughts and actions every day.
Araraume also admonished Nigerians to continue to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu in ensuring growth and development for the nation.
He commended President Tinubu for his commitment to several reforms that have brought positive growth and development to Nigeria.
“This is a period to also commend and congratulate President Bola Tinubu especially regarding security, we must all support him to ensure he continues to give us the dividends of democracy”
Araraume wished Christians a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration, while praying for the nation’s continued protection and restoration
