The Rivers State Police Command has commenced Investigations into the gruesome murder of one of the Big Girls making waves in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State and the CEO of a Port Harcourt-based ushering company, Special Bensington’s Ushers, Mina Orupabo
Orupabo died after she was shot multiple times along Peter Odili Road in Rivers State.
She was said to be on her way to inspect an event centre. The police spokesperson, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko, told newsmen that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for a thorough investigation. She did not disclose the victim’s identity. However, social media users have identified the victim as Mina.
The incident has raised concerns among residents and business owners in the area about increasing insecurity in Port Harcourt.
Eyewitness accounts and preliminary reports suggest the assailants opened fire on the victim, allegedly shooting her several times before fleeing the scene.
The identity of the attackers and the motive behind the attack were sketchy as at the time of filling this report
