Akin Olaiya and Nafeesat Feenah Hammed

Less than a year that popular Yoruba Actor, Akin Olaiya married his wife, Nafeesat Feenah Hammed, the marriage has collapsed.
The actor announced the end of his marriage to his wife just months after the couple exchanged marital vows.
Olaiya made the announcement in a formal statement, revealing that the decision followed several unsuccessful attempts to resolve differences after his wife allegedly moved out of their matrimonial home.
Olaiya further disclosed that his marriage to Nafeesat was celebrated on June 29, 2025, at the Central Mosque, Sabo, Mokola, Ibadan, in the presence of their families and loved ones.
According to the actor, the crisis started not long after the wedding when they were scheduled to attend an event in Lagos. He claimed that his wife later informed him that she was no longer interested in going for the engagement.
He alleged that before his return home that day, Nafeesat had packed her personal belongings and left the house without prior communication.
Olaiya said he made several efforts to resolve the matter, including reaching out to his wife and meeting with members of her family in a bid to restore peace and save the marriage.
However, he stated that all reconciliation attempts proved unsuccessful as his wife allegedly remained firm in her decision not to continue with the relationship.
In his dissolution notice, the actor declared that the marriage had come to an end, stating that Nafeesat was no longer his wife following her refusal to return or reconsider the decision.
